Affordable Rental Places In London

Looking for affordable rental places in London? We believe we can point you in that direction.

Despite the fact that rents in London are among the highest in the country, there are still affordable rental places in London, so renting a home in London does not have to be prohibitively expensive.

The average rent in London is currently over £2,000 per month, and we’re looking at areas that are half that (£1,000) per month. We are looking for locations with well-connected transit systems that are rapidly developing.

1. Tottenham, North London – £1,100

It is the home of Tottenham Hotspur, one of the Premier League’s most powerful football clubs! The average monthly rent for a one-bedroom apartment is £1,100, while a two-bedroom property will cost around £1,400, and with a regeneration program in place until 2025, there may be an influx/increase in prices in the near future.

2. Uxbridge, West London – £1,000

In this low-key west London town, you can expect to pay around £1,000 per month for a one-bedroom property and around £1,350 for a two-bedroom home.

Although Uxbridge is a little out of the way from Central London, a tube station provides direct access to the capital’s most important areas.

Uxbridge’s amenities include an IMAX cinema, local art centres, and a theatre.

3. Croydon, South London – £950 – £1,151

A one-bedroom property in Croydon can be rented for £1,000 per month. You can also find 2-bedroom houses for around £1,300.

Croydon residents do not have access to the tube, but they do have access to other train stations that connect to some of London’s most important stations. Gatwick Airport, for example, is only 18 miles from Croydon, which isn’t bad at all.
