Fulham is lined with shops along many main roads, however, its ‘heart’ is along Fulham Broadway. You can find your basic amenities like Sainsbury’s, Boots, and Wilko here. There are also popular chain restaurants such as Nandos and PizzaExpress. However, don’t be disheartened if you fancy something a little more unique. There are also fashion boutiques, chic gift stores, and many charity shops with oodles of treasures to be found within. Fulham Broadway is a foodie paradise, particularly, and boasts gems such as:

  • Amuse Bouche, a champagne bar. This place is a favourite with locals. They love that the staff remember you, are always warm and welcoming, and the great cocktails help too! You’re in for a treat if you swing by on the weekend, too, as there are acoustic nights every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
  • Wahleeah; a taste of New York cuisine in Fulham.
  • The White Horse overlooks Parsons Green and is a world famous pub for its beer, wines and delightful food. Also, its nightly summer barbecues!
  • Lots Larder offers unique homemade lunches in a relaxed and joyful environment.

REPUTABLE SCHOOLS

Fun fact: Fulham is popular with French families, as this area of London is populated with more French schools than usual. As well as this eccentric addition, it has a choice of state and private schools. Their Ofsted ratings range from ‘outstanding’ to ‘good.’ As well as some of our other area guides, Fulham also has its choice of ‘all girls’ and ‘all boys’ schools, if parents prefer those for their children.
